On Thursday 2 February 2023, REWIRE partner, EfVET – the European Forum of Vocational Education and Training, attended the final event of Interreg Europe CYBER project that took place in Brussels at the European Committee of the Regions representing REWIRE project and its vision in cybersecurity. The main purpose of the event was to show not only the progress made within the project, but also to display the world of possibilies that is opened to implementing the partners’ actions plans and making a difference in the cybersecurity field.

The event gathered important stakeholders in the field of the European cybersecurity industry/education and opened the debate with interventions from high level representatives from the partners’ ecosystems, EU representatives and public authorities. The main goal of the project was to focus to boots the competitiveness of cybersecurity SME’s by creating synergies among so called ‘Cybersecurity Smart Regions’.

During the networking session that followed the panel discussions, attendees had the opportunity to get to know better the action plans of the CYBER partners and exchange some knowledge or even discuss possible partnerships with them. Ms. Valentina Chanina, Secretary General of EfVET and partner of REWIRE, had the opportunity to participate actively in the networking session, make REWIRE known through brochures and leaflets, present the main objectives and activities of REWIRE in order to engage more stakeholders from the field of cybersecurity who showed an interest to know more about our project.
